What better way to start off the New Year than with some new tales of terror from The Bloke's Tomb!? This time 'round The Bloke brings us a quintet of quiver inducing incidents that impart the unfortunate fates of space travelers, blind dates, peace officers, Inuit tribe members, and a dinner party of two!

First up we're treated to The Ice Shaman, a chilling tale of murder, cannibalism, and the supernatural written and illustrated by Mike Hoffman! Next, long time Warren Publishing writer Roger McKenzie and artist Rob Moran invites us out for a bite at PK's Family Diner! Later break out your evening wear when we accompany single mom Belinda as she gives dating one more chance in Date Night, written by our host Jason "The Bloke" Crawley and illustrated by Juan Carlos Abraldes Rendo. Then brace yourself for impact as writer and artist Trevor Denham take us far beyond the comfort of earth and sends us along with a desperate crew to a strange alien world in Set the Controls! Finally, we step back in time and walk the beat along London's cobblestoned streets with writer and artist Samuel Agro in The Ripper!

The storytelling in this sizable, shuddersome anthology of chills and thrills is spot on! Each writer spins a yarn that subtly pulls the reader into a world you know is not all that it appears to be, then those narrative threads coalesce into a snare that catches the reader with an unexpected twist! The accompanying art is equally delightful. The black, white, and grey-scale illustrations are loaded with lively characters and settings. The dynamic compositions, bold use of shadows, and perspectives add to the stories' overall fervor and contribute greatly to establishing each story's mood and enhancing the action! In addition to all of that, Nik Poliwko provides a creepy couple of pinups to add even more ghoulish glory to this issue!
