Thanger Dangers (A.K.A. Thinger Dingers #2)

Thanger Dangers (A.K.A. Thinger Dingers #2) is an 32-page, digest size, B&W comic with recycled natural white card stock covers, written and illustrated by J.T. Yost. Published by Birdcage Bottom Books

This is the third collection of short comics drawn by J.T. Yost for various comic anthologies. This time around J.T. shares: some habitual tongue twisting rituals; single panel vegan gags; a bizarre case of unexplained deaths in Brazil involving lead masks and a UFO; a brief pictorial history of the Mohawk; an intimate encounter between two praying mantises that doesn’t end so well; and a funny parody of Little Orphan Annie, Popeye, and Garfield.

J.T.’s writing is witty and entertaining and the lettering complements the artwork. J.T. uses clean lines to illustrate simplified and expressive anatomy. He also makes excellent use of gray screening to give his drawings depth and weight. In Thanger Dangers J.T. incorporates a great balance between story, art, and lettering to deliver an enjoyable and visually pleasing comic!
