Copy This! #14

Copy This! #14 is a 28-page, B&W info/news mini comic zine published by D. Blake Werts.

In this issue Richard Krauss interviews George Erling. George opens up about inspirations, getting into self-publishing, underground comix, and his individual style and the influences that helped him to develop it. George also talks about starting Cartoon Loonacy and its long (and continuing) run. He then shares some of his non-comic work history such as a short lived career as an EMT, and his current long term career that went from freelance design work to full time employment. George and Richard then dig into the attraction of flea markets and record shows, and close out the interview with a look at current projects and a possible revival of George’s first self-published title!

The remainder of this issue provides info and news from Charles Brubaker, Brian John Mitchell, Brian Leonard, Rio Aubry Taylor, Pat Moriarity, Michael Dowers, Kelly Froh, Alexander Lay, Jason Young, Bob Lipski, Rob Kirby, Nate McDonough, Matti Saine, Pukka Joint Massif (PJM), J.T. Yost, Verl Holt Bond, Tom Davidson, Jim Ryan, and David Miller. Lots of good info on what folks are up to and how you can get your hands on their comics!
