About Jaime Portillo: Jaime Portillo is an independent comic book writer and publisher. His comic books include Hell Paso: The Story of Dallas Stoudenmire, The Railroad Killer, and Gabriel, which received a prestigious grant from the Xeric Foundation. He recently completed the new issue, Escape from Alcatraz: Back from the Dead, the official comic book series for Alcatraz and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
