Copy This! #9
Copy This! #9 is a 40-page, B&W info and news mini comic zine about comics (mini or otherwise). Published by D. Blake Werts.
This issue includes an interview of Clark Dissmeyer by Richard Krauss. Clark opens up about the appeal of self-publishing, how he got into zines and mini comics, his inspirations (past and present), his approach to the creative process, and what he’s up to now and how to get his comics. The last few pages of Copy This! #9 provides news and info on current offerings from other creators such as Alec Longstreth, Joseph Tenney, Brian John Mitchell, Joe Wehrle Jr., James Stanton, Chad Woody, and Carrie McNinch!
If you’re looking for mini-comics or comic zines, Copy This! is the publication to read!
***NOTE - Blake is planning an all art issue of Copy This! If you’d like to have your art considered for publication you need to send it in by 15 Dec 2014. Keep in mind your art should be formatted to fit a mini (5.5” x 4.25”) and be kept to a PG-13 type of rating. Check out Blake’s contact info at the end of this thing if you need to contact him for more details.***
