Jonathan describes this issue as his “Movie” issue and I must agree. There are a lot of stories involving movies in one way or another. We have stories about Jonathan’s work in the industry, working with celebrities, personal connections to movies and the actors in them, even sitting behind Harvey Pekar at Sundance! Speaking of Harvey Pekar, you might recognize some of the artists in this issue as former Pekar collaborators. Yep, a bunch of ‘em seemed to have cozied up to So Buttons and contributed their talents to this auto-bio comic! In addition to all the movie pieces Jonathan and friends also delve into eye surgery, film scores, drinking bourbon, the late actress Tallulah Bankhead, and an unexpected connection between baseball and pickles!
