Speak No Evil #1 http://bit.ly/2cubREb is a 29-page, full color, mature readers, comic written by Justin Corbett and George Tripsas, with art by Samir Simao, colors by Chunlin Zhao, lettering by Warrior Innkeeper Creative, and edited by Meredith Nudo. Published by Gray Bear Comics

In the 1920’s H.P Lovecraft, Nikola Tesla, and Tesla’s assistant Charles conduct an experiment in a secluded cabin, but things go horribly wrong. Shaken and unable to continue their research, they abandon their experiments and equipment leaving the cabin shuttered until they can find the nerve to return. Jump forward ten years and two thieving brothers stumble on the cabin as they seek a warm hiding place. What awaits the brothers in this cabin in the woods? What strange endeavor could bring H.P. Lovecraft and Nikola Tesla together? And what unspeakable experimentation could they be up to? The answers can be found in Speak No Evil!

Speak No Evil is a clever and creative comic that effectively takes the reader back in time to the first half of the twentieth century and throws them into an intriguing story with familiar characters. The writing is filled with believable dialogue and inventive twists that grab the reader’s imagination and pulls them into the story wanting more! The art is loaded with detail and intentionally overstated character expressions and gestures, which all lend a subtle and welcoming comedic undertone to the overall story, keeping the darker and violent aspects of the comic from weighing it down and making it bleaker than it needs to be. The winning combination of interesting subject matter, superb story development, and outstanding art all combine to make this a great comic!
