Strange Streets #4

Strange Streets #4 http://ryansart.storenvy.com/products/17024760-strange-streets-4 is a 21-page, standard size, silent B&W comic with color covers, written and illustrated by Ryan Quackenbush.

Not a lot to say about this one. The story revolves around music bringing a small group of people together in an apartment hallway. The notes from a violin reach through the closed doors and walls to a few people each going about their solitary lives. Something about the music draws these people into a hallway where their lives cross and perhaps are changed forever.

This being a silent comic it’s not really easy to describe exactly what the story is. To me it seems left to the reader (viewer?) to decide what all the images mean when viewed sequentially. That’s what I’ve done above to provide my own interpretation. Ryan’s art really captures the emotions of the characters and that’s what moves this story along!
