Copy This! #34

For Mini-Comic Monday it’s…Copy This! #34. This issue is a 36-page, B&W info/news mini comic zine published by D. Blake Werts with cover art by Joseph Tenney.

In this issue D. Blake Werts interviews Joseph Tenney. Joseph talks about his association with Cartoon Loonacy and his elder Loons. He goes on to reminisce about early childhood, his broken family, and getting into and collecting comics. Joseph then discussed the “woo” of comics (you’ll need to read his description) and getting turned on to minicomics and zines, creating his own comics. Later he talks about his time in college and how personal and family difficulties influenced his life. He also provides some info on current projects he’s working on and collaborative efforts he’s involved in.

The community news and info section of this issue features current offerings and updates from: Aaron Poliwoda (How to Deal with Someone Who Has Autism); Carrie McNinch (You Don’t Get There From Here); Charles Brubaker (A Witch Named Koko); Colin Upton (Kicking at the Darkness); J.T. Yost (Macrogroan); Michael Neno (What to do When Approached by a Creepy Clown, Junior Class Drawings); Roberta Gregory (Odd Bits); Robert Jennings (Fadeaway); Robert Pasternak (Acid Man Society); Scott Davis (Minis, Digest, Etc.); and me, WEE! (W.E. Elliott and my stuff).
