Zinc Comics Presents Warlock Hotel #4
Zinc Comics Presents Warlock Hotel #4 http://bit.ly/2jdXa8p is a 16-page, digest size, B&W comic written and illustrated by Brian Payne with typesetting by Skywalker Payne and featuring special guest Lorene Vilela. Published by Darshan Studios, Inc.
The longest story in this comic is that of a blind warlock that can see peoples’ auras and other planes of existence. He travels to hell to battle El Diablo, who just happens to bear a striking resemblance to a horned headed Nixon! Also included in this nifty comic is a silent two-pager titled “Midnight Sun.” It depicts scenes of Alaskan wildlife basking in the sun while a cute looking teddy bear character stands in the foreground. The final piece is titled “Out of this World.” It’s about undocumented aliens and the extreme lengths the I.N.S is capable of going to in pursuit of apprehending “aliens!”
Zinc Comics Presents Warlock Hotel #4 is handsomely rendered in simple line work that captures an enormous amount of detail with a minimum of sleek, polished inked lines. The composition of the pages and panels enhance the drama of the story by framing the action in a natural, unfolding sequence that carries the story along in a smooth transition of mystical events!
