In this supernatural series a wealthy and mysterious man has created an island theme park full of imprisoned ghosts! Prior to its opening a group of people are invited to the island to help the man with some final preparations. During this time one man’s son goes missing, while another man who possesses psychic abilities summons the dead! Through it all we’re treated to some of the characters’ backstories, witness the gruesome deeds of a dead murderer, and gain glimpses into the suspicions and rumors that plague one character in particular!
The art and writing in Ghost Island stay true to the story’s horror theme! The artwork is full of dark shadows and shades of gray alongside spilling blood and dismembered body parts! The writing moves at a steady pace, slowly revealing the grisly details of Ghost Island and its inhabitants, both living and dead!
