The story is about a young woman searching for her place in life. She returns to her childhood home but finds she has outgrown the quaint innocence and failed progressive future it once offered. Through conversations with family, old friends, and new acquaintances she finds the courage to pursue the path her heart desires.

The writing tells a straight forward story that flows smoothly. The art…well that’s on a whole different level! Most comics suffer from inadequate backgrounds, but not Victory Point. Owen’s expertise at architectural illustration is on full display! Every scene is a treasure to be studied. The elegant line work, the subtle stippling, and the masterful use of color to accentuate intricate architectural detail must be seen to truly be appreciated.
