at mam's books in the C-ID!
Finally! Keum Suk Gendry-Kim is coming to Seattle! She will sign books, do a short presentation and interview with local artist & animator Alex Barsky. JOIN US!
It's a Short Run tradition to meet at the Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery the night before the festival! Light refreshments will be served.
Also happening on Friday night 11/06, from 6:00 - 11:00 pm James Spooner Book Release with Kimya Dawson & Blvck Hippie Tickets Required
Once again, there will be lots to see & do at Short Run, so plan to stay a few hours.
The Short Talk will be held on the 2nd FL skybridge. The Extended Short Talk will take place across the parking lot at the Friends of Seattle Public Library new event space (follow the signage, look for the air dancer!)
This year we will have the 2nd FL balcony activated with printmaking demonstrations and hands-on activities. Thanks to our programming partners The Vera Project Screen Team, Seattle Printer's Guild, Paper Press Punch, Alley Cat Press, Cornish Book Arts, and Strange Library.

Mannie Murphy's PENCIL TEST short animation show returns to Jules Maes Saloon at 8 pm the night of the festival!
SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! Catch this presentation on your way out of town! Or if you are local, sleep in late and then wander over to the library for afternoon donuts and a great talk about applied cartooning!
