Three friends fantasize about being heroes and one of the friends even creates a comic featuring their exploits. Years later the three have grown apart and each has gone their own direction, until the comic mysteriously reappears and transports the friends into the comic book universe of their own creation! 

The creative team on this one does a great job of presenting the kids as kids, both in the art and writing. The story moves along at a good pace and the characters are developed in sufficient detail to make each of them interesting. The drawing is simple and clean with a range of flat colors and shadows used to round the figures and flesh out the panel compositions.
