The show is just about two weeks away and we could not be more excited! Each year we strive to offer the best programming for all ages, from hands-on workshops to engaging panels, and this year is jam-packed!
Learn how comics can save the world…
Join MICE featured guest and award-winning cartoonist on Saturday in the panel "Keith Knight: Cartooning Can Save The World". Explore the way comics have historically been used in social justice movements, cultural storytelling, and speaking truth to power for centuries. Using his work and the work of others, Keith makes the case that cartooning can be a bridge to understanding, compassion, hope, and even liberation.
Create your own mini-comics…
Participate in the workshop "Interactive Comics" on Saturday to make a truly unique mini-comic using a pocket-sized computer. Learn some basic coding and wow your readers with interactive elements.
Sharpen your drawing skills…
Drop by our Maker Space on Sunday for some casual fun in "Doodling Together"!
Catch these and so much more December 7th and 8th at the Fuller Building at Boston University, and don't forget to RSVP to let us know you're coming. From bugs to dinosaurs, and from surrealism to mindfulness, there is something for everyone!
Admission to MICE and all our BCAF festivals is free thanks to tax-deductible donations from readers like you. Help us support free events and the Boston comics community!
