This fall we've been lucky to table at several small press and self-publishing fairs. We see the power of telling your own story through paper and ink. You don't need much to make a comic, you can just make it! Seeing all the amazing ideas and dazzling art made with thoughtful hands is what keeps us doing what we do! |

Marnie Galloway has a particular knack at telling personal stories that go far beyond any easy synopsis. On Fire is one of our favorite comics we've read this year. Marnie reflects on taking her small children to school the morning after another school shooting in America. Marnie has to project calm and stability even as she grapples with how fragile her ability to protect her children is. On Fire is an exceptional example of the power of cartooning to express complex ideas in a digestible form. Also new from Marnie, two top-notch diary comics collections, Really In It and Pensacola! |

We added two new 8.5 x 11" zines from Iona Fox! Sadly, the Alley Cat Zine is already sold out. But Tough Shit is a thoughtful, defiant, and often humorous reflection on cancer treatment and being equipped with a colostomy bag. Iona's singular cartooning voice shines on every page! |

We're amped to carry comics by Evelyn Perez! KCN No. 1 is a Kafkaesque true story of navigating the healthcare system while Evelyn's vision fails her. The way Evelyn represents her vision loss is inventive and striking. Mess is an equally dream-like comic…probably because it is a humorous dream comic! |

Ellen's first full-color entry in her ongoing series of comics documenting gender rebellion in professional baseball! Ida Schnall was the star of stage, screen, and the baseball diamond! Learn her story. |

Zareen Choudhury's straightforward comics about navigating life are refreshing, funny, and thought-provoking! Fasting or No Fasting is a comedy of errors around getting lab tests done during Ramadan. Going Gluten Free shows how sometimes restrictions in life can lead to broadening one's horizons. |

It's alarming how important a resource this collaborative zine continues to be. Accessible and encouraging, the Abortion Pill Zine can help keep those who need access to medical abortion informed. |
