We love all the comics we carry in our distro, but Melissa Mendes' long-running series, The Weight is one of the best comics we've ever read. It's emotionally poignant, full of both large cacophonous events and the smallest of quiet moments as we follow Edie from birth to adulthood. We're thrilled to have recently added issue 11 through 14 of the series.
Special congratulations to Melissa for recently concluding the comic online, and her announced deal with Drawn & Quarterly to publish a collected edition next year. Though I do have to say, reading it in minicomic form—with its thick inks, cream-colored paper, and Melissa's end notes—is the best way to experience this story. |

Quite possibly the most chaotic comic in our distro! Pip has created a true adventure into a cartoon world full of dangers for the reader, drug-filled interactions, and a manic lion with social anxiety!

Bulgilhan Press has released two new beautiful books, and we had to have them in our distro!! Huhua Zhu's The King's Warrior and A Night Ride to the Day by Breeze Hu both deal with people on missions of great importance because of missing family members! One takes place in a mythical land where monsters are real, the other in the intense lights of a city that parties through the night. |
